Pan-American Exposition, c1901

For six months in 1901, the City of Buffalo hosted the Pan-American Exposition, a World?s Fair that demonstrated the technological progress of the Western Hemisphere. The Horticulture building (left) exhibited achievements in agriculture, while the Temple of Music featured live performances, and was made notorious when President William McKinley was assassinated there on September 6th.
